Beauty of Curug Seribu ( Thousand Waterfall )

Curug Seribu is one of the tourist destinations in Indonesia which is famous for the beauty of the waterfall. Curug Seribu means is a thousand waterfalls, located in Gunung Bunder, Bogor.

People might recognize this place as a tourist area containing mystical, but I think this place looks very exotic and beautiful, especially with the many waterfalls, shady trees, crystal clear water and rocks that still looks natural. It's a little dark in some places and also the way a little bit slippery, but perhaps also because at that time I was traveling in the rainy season begins.

Two years ago we were there driving a private car and takes about 2 hours to reach the place from Jakarta. That includes buying snacks for the road. hehehe. When we got there first we stopped at the tavern for lunch. Hot tea and instant noodles enough to make us warm in a city which is known as the city of rain.

Before further, we pay a ticket for Rp. 15,000 at the main entrance of the attraction Gunung Bunder. uphill journey upwards with a speed of only 20 km / h for fear of slippery roads. Having reached the main objectives, namely Curug Seribu, cars in the parking but we didn't go straight up to the destination because of the rain that suddenly came hard. About 10 minutes the rain stopped and then we went out. By paying another entrance fee to Curug Seribu for Rp. 5,000, we straight up the stairs to where the waterfall is, with very carefully and holding each other.

It turns out that our struggle was so worth. We are amazed at the scenery is very beautiful waterfalls, ranging from the smallest to the largest., the water was cold but refreshing but it can be drunk directly in front of us. It's nothing compared to the Grand Canyon, US. But it is quite beautiful to look at as well. Cold but also refreshing. I just wanted to go back there again.
